A private, for- profit, corporation, incorporated in the state of Georgia.

Before admission to the facility, patient undergo a comprehensive assessment of their physical, psychosocial, social, and family needs to determine the most appropriate level of care. The treatment team, led by a Board Certified Psychiatrist, develops an individual treatment plan for each patient and meets regularly to review each patient’s progress and to update treatment goals. A clinical case manager, assigned upon admission, works closely with each patient and family to ensure that the treatment plan is meeting the patient’s changing needs.

In order for an individual to be eligible to participate in our Residential Program; they must present one or two of the following:

  • A history of multiple and daily use of alcohol and or other drugs.
  • Moderate to severe symptoms of withdrawal or that withdrawal is imminent
  • They must be medically stable, or have prescribed medication for their medical illness.
  • Concurrent issues addressed in addition to substance abuse include:
    1. Psychosis
    2. Bipolar Disorder
    3. Severe Depression
  • Low or no risk of danger to self or others.
  • Voluntary and willing to begin the recovery process
  • Cognitively capable of participating in and benefiting from rehabilitative activities

Services are provided in a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment.
Newport Integrated Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. utilizes a formal outcomes management system to evaluate effectiveness and efficacy of treatment services and to measure patient satisfaction.
More critically, Newport’s outcomes management system serves as the primary indicator of how well the organization is doing in meeting its treatment goals and objectives:

  • It is client /stakeholder driven.
  • At least 98% of all patients will be free from symptoms of drug/alcohol withdrawal after 5-10 days of detox.
  • At least 80% of all patients will complete 5-10 days of residential detox
  • At least 85% of all patients will be placed in Long Term Rehabilitation, and remain drug-free 3 months following detox.

Newport Integrated Behavioral HealthCare, Inc. is also monitored by an independent, state funded, Compliance Agency to ensure best practices.

  • Contractual arrangements with State/County for defined populations are accepted.
  • Private pay.
