Newport Integrated Behavioral Healthcare Ranked No. 1 in Georgia by Newsweek and Statista

Newport Integrated Behavioral Healthcare is proud to announce that it has been ranked No. 1 in Georgia on Newsweek and Statista’s list of America’s Best Residential Addiction Treatment Centers 2026. This national recognition reflects Newport’s longstanding commitment to providing accessible, compassionate, evidence-based addiction treatment and integrated behavioral healthcare to individuals and families throughout Georgia.

A Recognition of Clinical Excellence and Compassionate Care

Newsweek and Statista evaluated more than 5,000 residential addiction treatment centers across the United States, with 440 facilities receiving recognition in 2026. The evaluation considered recommendations from medical and behavioral-health professionals, credentials and accreditation information reported through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, available care and recovery-support services, and patient-review data. Newport was ranked first among the residential addiction treatment centers recognized in Georgia.

“This recognition belongs to every member of the Newport team,” said Dr. Joy MoseriCooper, Clinical Director of Newport Integrated Behavioral Healthcare. “Our physicians, nurses, therapists, peer specialists, case managers, residential staff, and community partners work every day to help individuals access treatment, restore hope, and build sustainable lives in recovery. Being ranked No. 1 in Georgia reinforces our responsibility to continue providing compassionate, accessible, and clinically sound care.”

Comprehensive Addiction and Mental-Health Treatment

Newport provides an integrated continuum of behavioral-health and substance-use treatment, including medically supervised residential detoxification, ambulatory detoxification, medication-assisted treatment, psychiatric services, dual-diagnosis treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient treatment, individual and group counseling, peer support, family engagement, relapse-prevention planning, and coordinated aftercare. Because addiction and mental-health conditions frequently occur together, Newport’s multidisciplinary team addresses each individual’s medical, psychiatric, emotional, social, and recovery-support needs.

Newport also works to reduce barriers that commonly prevent people from entering treatment. Services may be available to insured, uninsured, and underinsured Georgia residents based on clinical eligibility and available funding. Transportation assistance may also be available for eligible individuals.

Recovery Should Be Accessible to Everyone

Newport believes that financial circumstances, transportation challenges, pregnancy, homelessness, or a lack of insurance should not prevent someone from receiving help. Through partnerships with the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, the Georgia Opioid Crisis Abatement Trust, healthcare providers, recovery organizations, courts, community agencies, and housing programs, Newport helps individuals enter treatment and transition safely into continued recovery support. Newport is especially committed to helping individuals with opioid-use disorders, pregnant and parenting women, people experiencing homelessness, justice-involved individuals, and those living with co-occurring mental-health conditions.

Thank You to Our Team and Community Partners

This recognition would not be possible without Newport’s dedicated employees, patients, families, referral partners, funders, and community collaborators. We are grateful to everyone who has trusted Newport to be part of their recovery journey.
Although we are honored to be ranked No. 1 in Georgia, our most meaningful measure of success remains the lives restored, families reunited, and individuals empowered to build healthier futures. View the official Newsweek and Statista Georgia ranking:
