Residential Admission Considerations

Residential withdrawal management may be appropriate when structured stabilization is needed

Existing Newport admission information notes that residential eligibility is determined through assessment and may include individuals with a history of frequent alcohol or other drug use, moderate-to-severe withdrawal symptoms or imminent withdrawal, and a need for structured stabilization.

Patients must be medically appropriate for the program, voluntary and willing to begin the recovery process, and cognitively able to participate in and benefit from treatment activities.

Call before arrival if you have insurance.

This allows Newport to review benefits and admission requirements before you come to the facility.
